New Varlion padel racket of professional level totally revolutionary and innovative, which has been developed and manufactured under a new shape and different technology.
MAXIMA is a new shape that was born from the fusion between the LW (Lethal Weapon), a round shape padel racket created in 1995, and AVANT, a teardrop shape created in 2009. As a final result, we got an hybrid called MAXIMA, designed for players who require more control in their game, without giving up power. MAXIMA is also a registered trademark of Varlion in the European Union with number 018213074.
In this racket you will also find the new PRISMA frame (patented in Spanish Patent and Trademark Office with number 202030114). Thanks to the fact that the frame is shaped like a prism, we managed to reduce by 90% the contact point of the frame against walls and surfaces. In addition, air resistance has been reduced by 10% compared to our Hexagon frame or the other conventional frames, according to the study carried out in a wind tunnel.

On the other hand, in order to make the new Prisma frame resistant with its very particular design, we had to reinforce its construction in the most fragile point (the head) through a new adhesive injected bumper, called PRISMA bumper, with an exclusive design that perfectly matches the prism shape. This new bumper not only covers the outermost point of the frame, but also the edge and its union with the racket surface.
Its design has been taken care of down to the smallest detail so that the weight is as low as possible (7 grs) and it also serves as an anti-vibrator thanks to the fact that it is completely adhered to the frame through a 3M tape.
The Prisma bumper is patented in Spanish Patent and Trademark Office.
As if that were not enough, this new racket includes a new surface texture in the plane, called SLICE, which has been designed and developed with a series of curved lines that hook the ball surface, considerably increasing the effect that other rackets achieve in each shot.

As its name suggests, the new Maxima Summum Prisma Radio racket includes SUMMUM technology in its construction, which is based on a combination of several factors:
Its handle is longer than the usual ones, to provide the player with a more comfortable and professional grip, thus avoiding having to put the overgrip over it, and also to facilitate grip for players who use both hands.

And Wings Diffuser technology in the heart, with an aerodynamically improved diffuser which provides more handling and precision to the racket.
In addition, to solve the changes that temperature exerts on racket materials, this model has been manufactured with two types of rubber: a softer one, called "W", recommended to be used at low temperatures or up to 25ºC / 77ºFF; and a harder one, called "S", recommended for use at temperatures above 25ºC / 77ºF.

And finally, it is worth noting the new security system on the handle, called HANDLE SAFETY.
Normally, all rackets have a central exit hole for the placement of the rope, which is fixed to the structure of the handle by means of a pin, rivets, nails, etc. However, with this new system, the rope goes through the three walls of the handle, thus giving 100% grip security, and comes out on both sides of the bar, so that the player will no longer have to twist it to feel more comfort in the game.
This new security system is patented in Spanish Patent and Trademark Office.
A total of six patents, five of them completely new, support the exclusivity of these technologies and the inventions made, as a result of the investment in research, design, development and investment that Varlion has been making continuously for 27 years.
